About
Central School is a great place to teach and learn. It has a rich history, being one of the first schools in the Taber area, built in 1910. It has been rebuilt and renovated a number of times since then! We are a kindergarten to grade 5 school, and we welcomed a new Low German Mennonite Program in the fall of 2010. We offer a wide variety of educational and extra-curricular activities. These include a daily breakfast program, bi-monthly hot lunch program, gardening club, basketball, volleyball, and choir. Special events include Pancake Breakfast, Tri-School Bbq, Christmas Concert, LGM Christmas & Easter Program. We are an energetic and inclusive community of learners who share the belief that "kids can because we care."
